Having a movie producer father, Darya started acting at an early age and fell in love with the biz. She realized that she also really loves working behind the scenes coaching actors.
Working as a casting director in Los Angeles in both TV and Film for over 10 years, she has learned what works and what doesn’t when it comes to not only nailing the audition, but actually getting cast on top shows.
She has been fortunate enough to work in all fields of casting (reality, commercials, extras casting, principal acting in TV / Film) on some amazing projects and alongside some of the top casting directors. Some of her past projects include the drama series SWITCHED AT BIRTH on the Freeform network, THE RESIDENT FOX TV series, and VERONICA MARS the movie. Darya is affiliated with the Teamsters union and The Casting Society of America.
